i'm not sure i like you logging in out of your regular turn order. even if you didn't move any units (i checked and couldn't see), you had the chance in your 10 (!!!) minutes being logged in to check out the situation and possibly adapt your city builds to whatever the turn looks like now.
normally i wouldn't bother, but with all those accusations by bigfree - be they truthful or faulty - i do not think you are in the position to push the boundaries just for the sake of a phony "I simply have to log in to see this." ... why would you do that with your history in this game?
you could have always seen it when you play your next turn...

As we've gone over, multiple times, there's nothing wrong with logging in again multiple times, as long as you don't do anything that would affect a double move. This is a simul turn game, that is simply how it works; if you don't like it, play slower syncro turn games.
There is certainly nothing wrong with adjusting your city builds multiple times during a turn. The only thing that could affect anything is if you make a move after your opponent moves in the active front, which clearly did not happen.

interesting... it seems as though geo and snoopy are going to pick off one team after the other. they have just captured a city of my teammate's and have boatloads of units coming closer.
and due to keygen's capitulation, we are automatically at war with 4 civs... not a nice thing

One time is coincidence, two times suspicious...
Psychological warfare? Already? Don't tell me your situation is so dire with those frigates and grenadiers running around.
In any case, this makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside to know that it was my gifted units that took down Magnolia.

and snoopy took alex's latest city with three catapults withdrawing (none of them with flanking promotion) and a loss of a mere single unit - while i lost 2 grenadiers and a crossbowman...
luck was certainly not on my side in the last few turns

If it's any comfort, I remember a time I lost 4 caravels in a row against you while you were each time attacking with low odds.
In any case you should have, as Snoopy369 did, offered tribute to the God Mars before rolling the battle dices.

Ah how I missed this thread! Anyway game was down for a bit I thought I had saved it before I had to take it down to look and see if the computer I was giving to my sister still worked. Evidently I had not. So the last save was yesterday so everyone who played today...well you are going to have to play again. I AM SORRY. I know this is likely to effect the war everyone make the same moves you made last time and we will be ok. Anyway it is back up now and should be up for awhile. Beta send me strategy and I can pick up my turns most of the time again. (though again if you see I haven't played by 11 EST feel free to play for me if I know I won't be able to play I'll let you know). Again sorry for the backtrack.

Did you not have a recovery save you could reload. You step through the players - find the latest save and use that one. It means that person has to replay but it save everyone from having to do so.
I believe there is a recovery save made after each player has played. It is overwritten when they play their next turn. You may want to look into it - especially for a game with this many players.
As to the RNG and the odds and good luck and bad, I can relate. Snoop had a real run of good luck against me in another game, but over time, things even out.
And to me, that is one of the real plusses of the pitboss. No worries that someone is reloading when an attack doesn't work out. You make your decision, you live with the results. Or die as the case may be.
Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war .... aw, forget that nonsense. Beer, please.
Dacole, just so you know the civstats uploader is down too.
And it seems everybody must replay this turn. I just logged in and nobody had an asterisk behind his players' name.

Yes pittboss is up now sorry about that. I tried to look for the saves made after each person played a turn but couldn't find them. As we have advanced another turn now going back to one of them might be a mistake. For future reference where are those stored? Thanks!

documents - my games - warlords - saves - multi - auto and then check through the various recovery saves.
They are all time and date stamped so pick the latest. The only thing to be aware of is that you cannot reload and play from your own recovery save - for obvious reasons.
