Out of bordom I decided to log onto the game and relaized that the new turn is now UP
Hercules and myself have already played.
Snoopy: Since you refuse to use CivStats (for whatever reason you seem to justify for it - I am hosting a game with CivStats by the way...as others are as well).,..I have decided that I WILL post each and every time my turn is played.
You call these postings "spam" - I for one call it "using the game forum for what it is here for.
Quite frankly Snoopy, if you have heart-burn with this, then by all means, bring it to the attention of Ming or Dan - BUT I will not play this guessing game wondering if my turn is up or not. I am just being frank and telling it like I see it.

Perhaps as a compromise, we could have the last person to play a turn report that fact? That way we still get the update, but don't all keep getting +1?Originally posted by Wittlich

Quite frankly, I consider the +1s irrelevent.
Posting the same post over and over again is spam and an abuse of the forums.
Posting that you've played your turn is gamesmanship.
Hell, if the post counts for the PBEM Forums were withdrawn, I would not mind in the least.
Quite frankly, I really don't know why Snoopy was getting all upset about it in the first place (especially since he refuses to utilize CivStats).

The same happened in another game hosted by snoopy369.
It looks his computer (or mine) has some problem.

Fed, have you set your router to open port 2056 for UDP traffic?
In the past, I had the same problem when joining a game while another players was logged into it. Once I figured out "how" to open port 2056 for UDP traffic, my connection stopped timing out. I basically set a range of ports open for UDP traffic (ports 2055-2057).____________________________

I just tried logging onto the game and it looks like the game is down on Snoopy's side of the house.

Don't shoot the messenger but I think the game went down while I was in it!! The countdown timer froze and I was unable to move my mechanized infantry.......

There was around 6 hours left when it froze on me.
