Ok - I know you mentioned 'random' world, Hurlyman, but I really do not like the idea of a 4 person game ending up on continents. Narrows the scope too much. (2 on one and 2 on the other). So, I excluded continents and some of the goofy ones, and rolled a die - came up with inland sea. The great Bohemian Sea. For our Bohemnian Epic. Is that OK with folks. Seems like a good map for 4 players with 6 AI's. Will require both early land and sea units, unlike some of the maps. And will make sure we all get to know each other sooner than later.

And oh yes - please PM your email to the player in front of you, or post them here in bot-disguised fashion.

I have got all the settings set to go, except for the question of whether conquered cities should be able to convert peacefully back to its owner via a culture flip. Any thoghts. The default is to NOT allow this.

I would say: yes, allow culture flipping
If the conquering player decides not to improve the city culturally - then they are taking a gamble on the city citizens getting fed-up with their stewardship and converting back to the original civ.

Yeeepeeee! Here we gooo! Fine, fine. I'm really looking forward to this game.

                        My adress:

                        franz ((-AT-))) ephack ((-DOT-))) net

Is there any rule specific to multiplayers games that I should absolutely be aware of?

And yes, Beta, I changed my use's name, or better said, I took back my original name. As you can see, I registered in year 2000, but I never used again my login since that date. Result: impossible to find the password, and email adress that doesn't exist anymore. So I had to ask some nice moderator to change mail & password for me. But I didn't want to miss this game

And I promise I will get the name right soon. It is Ephack, not Ephrack.

Just a few common sense ones. I'll explain them in the turn tracker thread, which is in the sub-forum ....

                            Here.
