No, no, the status doesn't move on to the next civ until the first one is done. So, like, we won't start a war with Toku, untill we are done with Nappy. So if you meet more civs, we don't have to attack them, and, further, can even trade with them, and such. Untill their time comes.
[2] 2720BC - We get Bronze Working. Work starts on Animal Husbandry so we can connect those cows. I notice that the only visible source of copper around is that one next to Paris. Good thing that we got to attack Nappy first, the sooner we get our hands on the metal, the better.
[4] 2640BC - Between turns, an archer from Paris attacks Broken arrow, who is stationed in the woods outside the city gates. We are victorious.
[5] 2600BC - Mecca builds an archer. War is nice, but we need to expand, too, so I start it off on a worker.
[7] 2520BC - Tokugawa adopts Slavery. So he got Bronze Working, too.
[9] 2440BC - Nappy adopts Slavery. Aha! I hope he's not working on a worker! That'd be a nice gain for us.
In three turns we get Animal Husbandry and a Worker. I suggest building another archer or two after that (or maybe an archer and a scout - the map is kind of dark), and use the worker to connect up the cows, and then start on a road to Paris, so we can get reinforcements there faster. As far as research, maybe Iron Working would be good. Swords are always nice for a conquering nation.
