And away we go:
1030 - Oh, he's not done yet, looks like we wants to take a bite out of Macchu Picchu. Half of the stack went NE towards MP, the rest are headed SE to Corihuy(mouthful). I've pulled the stack back towards MP, since it will be easier to defend back there, and parked the S stack inplace on the hill, waiting for the Greeks to get off their hill. The Maiden continues her voyage of exploration, and Confucianism is spread in Huamanga.
1040 - Ha! He fell for it and attacked us in the forest hill, killing two of his units. However, one split S to Cori, and the other went N to pillage tiles. Our axe didn't even scratch the sword, so let's hope the garrison at Cori can hold on. Two swords go N to block the pillage path (hopefully with enough def to bite on those axes)
Whoa. Great merchant! So, super specialist, +1000ish to Civil service or try and caravan to Beijing? I better see how the war goes first...
1050 - How sweet. They burninated it ;_; Can you feel the? Well he'll finally talk and I trade Alphabet for peace. On the uh, bright side? That seems to have -helped- our economy
1060 - Missionary dispatched to Nanjing, and the exploring Maiden discovers Russia! We arrange a trade of grain fed Incan Cows for fine Russian Silk.
1070 - Qin's also finshed Chichen Itza? Damn. In the meantime, I decide to join up our GM as a super specailist in Cuzco and BAM! the research up a notchCompass will be done next turn
China's border popped over the old site of Cori, so no resettling there. But! The Hill right next to the gold might be an alternative. Maybe.
Right now I'm getting archers out of Cuzco to garrsion up the cities, and just waiting for Alex to attack againSee that forest square SW of MP where some of our guys are? They like to attack from there instead of going to the open farmland.
And can I very strongly hint at Feud next? Archers are just not cutting it for defense anymoreOn to the next player - hope you have a better run than me!
Attached FilesBut there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Must.have.Thermopylae.as.payment!
Looks like some city better starts on the Great Library before someone else snatches that away as well.

With 2 catapults and a bunch of Swordsmen/Axemen escorted by horse archers? You're kiddin' right? Should be a breeze...

Oh we're at peace with the Greeks now? Ah ok I didn't notice that the first time I read Makahlua's report!
And judging by the forces the Greeks have right now I'm not going to attack. In and around Thermopylae are 3 swordsmen, 4 axemen, 3 phalanx and one archer.
We have 2 horsemen, 4 swordsmen, 2 catapult and 1 axeman.
Needless to say we would get owned! Their axemen have the upper hand vs our swordsmen and the phalanx would stop us from using horsemen first. So I'd rather wait until we had some sort of advantage...
1070
Our people learn to use the Earth's magnetic fields in order to accurately navigate their ships through the vast seas. Compass discovered.
Machinery next.
Cuzco begins constructing a Great Library (10 turns - scratch that - 7 turns with some tweaking)
We meet with Peter and work out an Open Borders agreement (now we can go exploring further with The Maiden galley). I also trade him compass and horseback riding for theology. Peter is now Pleased with us. Hopefully he'll make for a good ally.

1080
MP produces a missionary. I have them build a Monastery next.
Alexander quickly accepts open borders (he's actually 'Pleased' with us) so I can infiltrate some more of his cities with our religion
1090
We work out a few improvements accross our empire
1100
While exploring Russia's coastline the Maiden comes into contact with a new Civ- the French! We work out an open borders treaty. They have sugar to trade for when we get something to spare
1110
Ollie finishes a barracks, works on forge. Huama also finishes a barracks, they work on
Sistine Chapel AND Great Library completed in a far away land!Taking a peek in the top 5 cities Paris took the Chapel and the Library was built in an unknown French city.
We discover the Russian city of Yekaterinburg and notice another light blue border down there right on the edge of the unexplored territory. Did Alex colonize all the way over there or could that be Persians?
Man 5 turns go by quick!
