Well, ours (Europe Classic PBEM) seem to have no errors with upgrading.

according to alexman, only PBEMs with admin-passwords set should have problems (too bad for me, at least 6 of them do).

          OK, thank for answers everyone.

Does this mean that the player seting up the game needs to go first in updating or can we begin anywhere within the turn?

I tried upgrading (I'm player #2), but got som weird message about protecting my mod assets or somesuch (I know I should have written that down before downgrading to 1.09).

Could the error have been because the admin-password is set?

          Many, many thanks!

yes, precicely that is the problem in many of my PBEMs.
and in civ4, patched to 1.09 you cannot delete the admin password

I dont think it really matters what order you patch in (i.e. if your 2nd or 5th player as long as all do it and unfortunately, password games have been da suxor

But so far a lot less prblems than previous patch

Off to another great round of turns
