Hmmm... a little problem here we should talk about.

I declared war on you last turn and entered your territory. I suspected your capital was unguarded - but I couldn't see as I was only one tile inside of your borders. When I open this save, I find that we are at peace and my unit is outside of your borders. Additionally, your unit that was tailing me is nowhere to be found...

Did you use the diplomacy screen to propose peace? I'm thinking that there is a bug in the game here. I want to understand the sequence of events before reporting this bug.

I haven't sent the save to you yet to figure out what we are going to do. I'm willing to continue without a state of war with you -- but clearly one side shouldn't be able to enforce peace like some ancient era UN.

When I opened the game it was in the diplo screen. It had cease fire on both sides and I offered that. The WAR in the lower right went away and you popped out of my territory.

If you like, I'll replay the turn and let you capture my undefended capitol and end the game.

Or, I can just concede now? I concede.

oh, perhaps I had difficulty managing the diplo screen. I did do a lot of clicking around to see how it was different than a SP diplo screen. I probably offered it without realizing it.

Okay, good. Mystery solved. Let's continue playing as if a war never happened. I'll send my warrior out scouting again. Do you agree? If so, then play the save I just sent you.

I have no problem with you winning the game. The interface issue should not interfere with the fact that you caught me with my pants down. I don't know about continuing with this one. You have taught me a PBEM lesson.
