Nice tale!
Good to see that we shall have copper soon. And with all the new war chariots, our war against the Japanese will be victorious!

For the next player: There is a lonely citizen specialist in Heliopolis; he would serve the empire better working on the fields.

Let me see how I can do...
Edit:
275 BC
Ze Ace rises to become the pharoah of Egypt
Worker near Helio builds a road to the pigs so everyone can enjoy some porkchops.
The war with the Japanese begins as our chariots cross the border towards Estruscan.
It's only guarded by a spearman and an archer.
We lose one chariot, and damage another to 50%. The last two move into Estruscan to raid 50 GP and install a new governor. There's an axeman directly south of Estrucan, across the river. Since the river gives a large defensive bonus, we'll let him attack us.
With the borders opened, the scout moves to explore the continent west of Tokyo.
The new chariot starts towards Estruscan to join the battle.
--
Warrior "The chosen few" is killed by spearmen while hiding in the forest.
The axeman attacks Estruscan as expected and dies, but severly damages a chariot.
250 BC
All three chariots gain Combat II and move into Estruscan to heal.
Our scout moves to the hill and the capital of Japan, Kyoto.
--
The scout is attacked by an archer and almost survives...
225 BC
Our galley finishes. It starts south to meet the romans and their neighbours. Memphis starts a monestary so we can spread our religion to the romans continent.
Two new chariots in the north. They're off towards Estuscan along with the chariot from the east. Two more chariots are in the queue.
Both workers out east complete the road on the new farm
The worker in the north starts a road on the other wine
--
200 BC
Two chariots are healed in Estruscan. They go to the hill west of the city to get a view of the next target, Edo. One of the new chariots meets them there, the other two are on the way.
One worker in the East heads east of Elephantine to start build towards the gold mine. The other heads towards SSW of Memphis to start a farm. This farm will eventually provide fresh water for the corn.
--
A spearman appears from the direction of Tokyo.
175 BC
Estrucan has stopped revolting. Starting an archer.
Our chariots attack Edo. First one wins, second withdraws, and third takes the city. We pillage 97 gold, and install egyptian rule.
Two more chariots move to cover the two damaged chariots, and the third moves to cover Estruscan
Our boat arrives and greek borders.
Workers move to the gold and farm sites.
--
Spearman moves adjacent to our warrior guard Thumper
150BC
Memphis and Elphantine grow. Thebes starts working where the new farm is going, and Eleph is working a forest until the gold mine is done.
A new chariot in Heliopolis takes Flanking promo and heads towards the rest, but is still within range of the pikeman in case Thumper needs help.
Worker near Memphis goes to complete the road to Estruscan and eventually mine the iron.
The Chariots near Edo: Damged chariots rest, one takes Combat II. One heads NW from Edo and spots
Two axemen and a settler 2 west of Edo, then retreats to Edo. Other chariots wait in Edo.
We open borders with Romans so we can keep exploring with our boat. The city of Ravenna is south of the original unit. There's copper and lots of jungle around.
--
Spearman moves to our gold mine in Helio.
125 BC
Memphis buidls a Chariot and starts another. New one moves toward helio to help deal with the spearman
Worker starts road near Estruscan.
Chariots move NW from city, find 2 axe+set next to Kyoto. Decide to attack and steal the worker. Costs one chariot, and slightly damages 2. They end up NW of Estruscan. Worker moves to the city.
Boat keeps on heading SE along the coast.
--
Spearman destroys our Gold Mine.
New chariot appears near Helio.
100 BC
Estruscan border expands. Iron is now within borders and roaded (thanks Tokugawa).
Memphis builds monestary, starts missinoary
Eleph builds an archer, starts a chariot. Archer heads west.
One chariot heads down road to SW. Finds Osaka guarded by 2 spears and an archer. The other 4 chariots move to NW of Edo so they can attack next turn.
Worker near Edo starts mining Iron.
Chariot moves into Helio.
Boat keeps on going.
--
Chariot destroys horse pasture near Helio.
75 BC
Edo revolt ends, starts building Archer.
Thebes expands to 7 and gets to Happiness cap (because of lost Gold). Gold will be restored through one mine or the other, so let growth continue.
The chariots take Osaka with one loss. There's horses with an Archer guard SW of here. Captured worker heads to Edo.
Boat heads back towards Thebes to pick up Missionary.
Worker north of Estru start irrigating corn
War Chariot in Helio takes Combat I and succsessfully attacks the invading chariot.
--
Archer south of Osaka heads east.
Spearman moves towards Helio.
50 BC
Contstruction!! At last we can buidl machines of war.
Researchers are now looking into a written "Alphabet" that will let us share our knowledge with others.
Thebes is now unhappy due to war weariness... Where's that gold when you need it.
Gold mine near Elph is done, moved citizen to there.
Worker near Memphis roads new farm. Archer continues westward
3 Chariots move into Osaka. One upgrades with healing.
Worker from Edo works on new road to shortcut route from Edo to the original empire.
Helio builds another Chariot, starts on an Archer. New chariot takes combat I and attacks the spearman, but dies after inflicting his damage. The older chariot takes Shock and cleans up the rest. The people rejoice and name their new hero Adam, in recongition of the real name of the Pharoh who has brought such glorious expansion to the empire.
...
But Ze Ace's rule comes to an end like all rulers before him. What will happen now? A revived war effort to further reduce the Japanese? A time for peace? And where will the new missionary spread his holy word???Last edited by zeace; May 25, 2006, 05:04.

Wow, that was awesome zeace!
Well done for taking 3 cities in your 10 turns as Pharoah. That was decisive action and an excellent start to crushing the Japanese.
Bring on the next player!Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.

"Wow" indeed. This used to be a slow-moving and often slumbering game and thanks to FeMme and zeace we suddenly have copper, iron and seven cities. Life is good!
Regarding Japan, with catapults and the momentum that we have right now, I think we can try to take Tokyo before making peace. Finally (although this is Egypt and I'm not Cato) I still say that we should get Pottery.
