3 players for a PBEM game

Hello Morten! I'm Sergio. 30 years old. Half Finn, half Yank. Moved back to Finland from California about 2 1/2 years ago. Live alone and work as an on-call truck driver. Played CivI some back in high school, later alot of CtP. Currently regretting a stupid decision I made in the first turn of this game!

Hey guys, I'm 33 Italian living in Texas...just moved back here from Italy. This is my first time playing a pbem (well, I have another civ4 pbem going concurrently with this one...but started almost at the same time).

Before civ came out on the computer, there was a Civilization board game published by Avalon Hill I played a few times with some friends...I'm glad I got a chance to play head to head with other ppl at this game after so much time....although I'm regretting my choice of [random] civ now...

Actually I got it a few minutes after you posted your reply, but then I got caught up in work and forgot to update the forum! sorry...anyway John should have it already...

I agree that it is nice to play against other people. As for regretting your choice of random civ... I don't think Peter was the best choice for a duel map with 4 players either, so... we'll just hash it out anyway!

Hey Morten, for some reason I got a second copy of turn 3600BC (yesterday's) from you this morning.

yes, I got that same thing from John, so.. couldn't think of better thing to do at this hour of day :P

I checked my received emails, I recieved the 3640 BC save on both Tuesday and Wednesday. No matter.

Hey, MortVader, the patch is out. How shall we coordinate the use of the patch so that we transition smoothly?

Hmm.. I am not sure. I vote we install the patch, and see what happens... ?

Come to think of it.. we simply have to install the patch, all of us. I dont think any of us are interested in NOT installing it until this game is finished. IF the game doesn't work after patching, we must start over... your views?

Agreed. If that is the prevailing view, should the next to play just install it and post here that save_nnnn is with the patch so we will know that now is the time to install it?
