Also, our peace treaty with the vile romans and greeks has expired. We can now kick their ass without any damage to our reputation. 'Course, we shall wait till rifling arrives and we build up some forces, first.

The barbs are being mean. I took out two of their defenders at the cost of two of my attackers. I hope they don't make another defender the next turn, for then all hopes of taking that city with this wave of attackers would be shattered.

Being frustrated with the barbs, I also forgot to ask Caesar if he would be willing to give us money to keep us peaceful.

In other news, there's a Greek resistance in Delphi. Sending in troops.

Also, meh. Why do I only recall that I was going to go bug other leaders the moment I hit the send button? I guess that's what you get for trying to play civ while also working on a project. Incidentally, I just fixed the final bug for today, so next turn my mind should be clear and dedicated to the wellbeing of our nations entirely.

Well, so I talked to the leaders. Renegotiated some deals with our friends, so now they are giving us more money for our goods. The greeks and romans don't want to cave in to our extortion demands... But but they are willing to pay us money for some resources we don't really need.

Also, I am now tied in score with Hatty. I suspect she will be surpassed when we discover rifling next turn.

We have finished Forbidden Palace in Cimmerian, which boosted our gpt by... 45! (And that with 80% of commerce going to research, so the beaker output must have risen by something like 180)
