Great. We shall soon have some converting to do.

In the mean time, we have adopted Hinduism as our state religion, and reverted back to researching Animal Husbandry.

I believe you should have the tech also, yes. You could switch to Hinduism as your state religion, however, I don't know if that would be beneficial right now. Later on, when I get to build a Hindu shrine, then every city with Hinduism will bring in more $$, so it might be a good idea to have us both set to the same religion. As for now, it only affects relationships with other civs (so Rome would think bad of you if you switch to Hinduism, and others don't care, as they don't have any religion yet at all.)
