Civ4 Pbem #3: Fast Game

I was one of the few fans of Accelerated Production in Civ3, and i'd like to start a game with the Civ4 equivalent of such.

It will not only use the civ4 equivalent of AP, "Fast Game" iirc, but also will perhaps be modded to have a small starter pack - possibly a couple of settlers if the game mechanics seem to allow that to be possible, and a couple of scout-type units.

The purpose will to the large part be to search out what we can find about civ4 in depth, quickly, getting into the military mechanics of it rather than the slow early gameplay (which we'll learn in other games, hopefully ). Although I don't want locked alliances or locked war, I expect this to be a fairly military oriented game ...

FOUR players only, as well. This needs to be fast MOVING as well as fast PACED.

I'd like this game to start in late october if there are the players, but i'm willing to wait for Europe if need be. I'm also happy to list 2 games in this thread if 8 people are interested etc.

I intend this to be a PBEM. I'm not sure how multiplayer will pan out at first go, and AP/Fast Game PBEMs go ... pretty quickly, especially with only 4 players.

I will eventually choose random a lot, but at first i'm going to specifically try various civs so I learn them better

I want to wait at minimum until we have confirmation from jshelr that he has civ4 working correctly ... Maka I believe got it to work eventually.

Yeah, I'm all good over here, just minor crashes that seem to be from windowed mode quirks
