4000 bc: I decided to settle in place again, although this site isn't as good as SGame#1... no resources in sight, at first.
But i hit the jackpot! Horses AND wheat, in city radius Life is good ... it won't be a stellar city, but it'll produce wonders for us fine And since we're the spiritual+industrious indians, that's our bread and butter ...
edit: There were cows there that I somehow managed not to see, also ... not so bad<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

3960 bc: Hinduism so Polytheism ... only 10 turns, also, so we should get there first (we have the bonus trade from the cows).
3920: There be gold in them thar hills! Warrior finds some gold west of Delhi. This will be useful ...
3880: nothing ...
3840: Warrior finds stone, and more horses ...
3800: Delhi expands, and speeds up Polytheism one, as it is using the oasis (+2 trade) now<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

3760: Hmm, rice That reminds me ...
/me goes to find some rice cakes to snack on
3720: nothing
3680: There be Blue Border in them thar forest... Not sure whom or what yet, probably Germans based on the color... can only see border though They're just across an isthmus, so perhaps we'll need to take action to block said isthmus. Perhaps...
3640: Hello, your Excellency, Mr. Washington! Chop down any cherry trees lately?<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

3600 cont'd: Agriculture is next. We have these fast workers, right? Might as well use 'em ...
3560: nothing much ...
3520: Finish a warrior! Finally ... Now, on to Fast Worker.
3480: Hmm, this subcontinent Washington's on isn't half bad ...
3440: Dyes AND silks? Definitely need to settle on this ...
3400: And so my turns come to a close ...<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

This is an interesting game.
Plans definitely should include build as many wonders as possible, as fast as possible. This map looks to be shield-heavy, but has some good food resources, so this shouldn't be that hard, especially with stone. Get the Stonehenge wonder as quickly as is reasonable (well, starting ~50 turns from now maybe), the early culture is a huge
In terms of techs, probably get some more worker actions (mining, animal domestication, hunting) first, then go for the culture and wonder techs with abandon
I recommend settling the first city ON the isthmus (choke point). It's not a perfect city, but it's not too bad, and it'll control the point like no other. Don't open borders to Washington until we've thoroughly settled our half. Third city should probably be in Washington's half of the continent, if possible - probably right on the coast halfway between the two luxuries there. Then we can start settling interior, probably one on the grassland peninsula south of delhi, and one to grab the gold resources...
One other thing to keep in mind. If we're going to have a shot at a culture victory (and that's certainly a plausible scenario here), we should go for getting temples and such up in 3 cities as quickly as possible. They double their culture output when they're old enough, I think, similarly (but not identical) to Civ3 ... and culture victory in Civ4 is HARD (have to get 50,000 culture in THREE cities...)
It should be an interesting game ...Attached Files<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

Anyone can grab the save, now, btw - don't rely on any particular order. The next 5 people or so should play 15 turns each, and after that start playing 10 turns each. Post as much or as little as you want, I'm about average that way, but at least a screenshot or two if you have the ability, or the word version thereof, would be nice<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.
