What is an SMTP server? We need it for sending turns directly from the game, but how do you get "it"? I don't even know what "it" is.Comment

I'll look into the SMTP server thing... I'm not sure if XP comes with an integrated mailer or not. I had always assumed that you just needed a mail client on your machine to send the mail directly from the game, but I guess it would help if I actually looked at the instructions...

Well, the patch is out. I should mention that my graphics card gives me the ability to see floodplains in the fog of war. This issue was not fixed in the patch. There's nothing I can do about it, unless someone can mod the floodplain graphic so it remains invisible.Comment

Are we still waiting for issues to be resolved or is this game shelved?
I'd like to start a PBEM but I don't want to get into a few and then have this one start up as well. There is only so much time I can devote to PBEM games
