I would never have set my civ up this way. overlapping cities with poor terrain. Excess worthless units

Gramps, you must've pressed the Begin button by accident. Then the computer spends your points for you (and very poorly I might add...). But if I'm willing to reload the turn if Wittlich agrees (we're the only ones to play yet), everyone should have a fair chance IMO. No fun in being ****ed from the start...

I thought I had to click that to begin to put units

lessons learned, although would like to know for the future what i have to do to select a unit and place where i want?

Too bad... You have a box at the bottom with different tabs where you can choose things to build. If you set up a game on your own computer you can try various settings, I think it's under custom games in the setup screen.

How do you guys feel about a 24 hour turn timer (it's presently at 36). Wittlich, GT, Hercules and Indiansmoke says yes, but we need to be unanimous IMO.
