I live in Gangneung, South Korea and I'm visiting my parents in Grand Falls, Newfoundland. We went camping in Gros Morne National Park for a few days. Nice, except for all the rain.
I'll be leaving Canada on Wednesday. I think it will be Friday by the time I get home.Formerly known as Masuro.

Yes, Gros Morne is a beautiful place although we didn't do any hiking up hills. We walked into Western Brook Pond to see the fjiord. I always thought Gros Morne meant 'Big Mountain' but I learned it actually means 'Big Gloomy'. It rained every day we were there so it's an appropriate name.

The hike up the mountain takes the better part of a day - and takes a bit of effort. But it is still worth it. Sorry the weather wasn't better for you - but all of eastern Canada has had a crummy summer.

I teach at a university. Some English conversation and some lower-level English department classes. And, don't tell anyone, but I also carry out espionage missions into North Korea for the Newfoundland government. Danny Williams is going to solve the nuke problem one way or another!!
