Snuck one more turn in before leaving for the weekend.I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.Comment

Onto Strudo!I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. Middle of summer - poured with rain
The boys were pretty good - but in a seaside bach with no power, no TV etc - a four year old and two year are not too much fun to be with, when you are trapped inside, and can't muck around in the rockpools, go out in the boat etc.
The Kaikoura coast is pretty rough in bad weather.......
