Grandpa, does it say anywhere to keep the threads to 500 posts? There are quite a few thrreads in this section with other 500 posts.

Ya know, I am a new Moderator and its been one of thouse "unwritten-but good-for all" rules.

Basically we keep the threads flowing and if someone had a slower pc, Im sure having to not load excessive material would help

You know, we've got a perfect thing going here. In terms of US time, George plays his turn in the middle of the night, Grandpa gets his in the morning, Cor plays his in evening, and so do I. Perfect 1 turn a day rotation.

I play mine in the morning ( I dont stay awake in the middle of the night ) and even if I forget to it gets to grandpa at the latest in his early afternoon.

Just to add this, I am recovering from my Spinal Operation, so I sometimes take a short break at my home, just to let you know why I sometimes play off hours.


I have 2-3 spinal procedures left and also they are going to cut my palm open to below the wrist and cut a ligament to relieve some pressure in my hand.

I will be doing more turns throughout the day as I take breaks

Just sharing, you guys really do know what a proper pace means in respect to keeping the interest up in a game.

For me with in excess of 40 games between CTP, CIV III Conquests, CIV IV and Warlords, I hate a game where I am getting a turn every 4-6 weeks
