as i had already discovered those sandy beaches i did not check very frequently. only when a caravel with a missionary floated past did i see the eastern barb city. on the way there with a quickly loaded maceman i then saw the much more delightful pathian with dye, bananas and iron

but why for the second time? i don't recall capturing any other barb city on your continent?

anyhow... who gave montezuma gunpowder? i was hoping for an assault without bombardment but 80% culture with city garrison 1 musketmen makes it a tough nut. will have to wait for cannons now

the first time you just beat me to it was when you colonised and culture-bombed the north-east corner of kumbongia just before my small army of settlers arrived in the same region

between the time my caravel found the empty area and about 20 turns my first settlers arrived you really had spread out a lot. at the end of this game i'll fire up an old save and show you the spots i had planned on settling you were actually lucky with all the place i left you in the end.

He took all my land from me. I didn't have any room to expand. So I did quickly and it hurt my econ, which is why I'm so far behind.

i didn't take away any person's land, i just sent some villagers to unclaimed territory. there is still plenty of open space all around the world, especially around hatsepshut and aebbeka, countless islands and even tundric area with loads of iron, coal, oil, whales, fur and deer!
