I just checked my mailbox and all that for Sabre having sent it to me on the 10th, but I don't see it. So I don't think that anything ever arrived, since I don't see an email I would have gotten from him, nor one that I would have sent onward.

So Sabre, please resend it to me. I had asked that of you in email on the 10th, but I don't think you ever actually resent it.

i'll be gone from this friday on for 9 days. not sure if i get to play any turns. notebook will be with me, but norway is too exiting to spend a lot of time playing

I had it, now Claus does. Montezuma felt threatened by my exploring workboat and has just declared war on me, invading with a Stack of Doom consisting so far of one empty galley. The Civ AI as usual, works in mysterious ways.

BTW Claus, any chance you could shorten your superlong player name a bit? I think the reason I can never use Thunderbird to email you the turn, is because the savegame filename is too long. You are the only link I have left to Microsoft internet technology. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, the name thing is what was screwing up a couple of the games I'm in. I had to shorten my name in the Industrial Factions game and also in another one. Since the combined length of the game name and the leader name was making the file name too long.

I'll be gone from tomorrow until September 10th, that is, for two full weeks. Sorry for that.

It's a pity that our once smoothly running PBEM has become so lame. However, summer time will be over soon , and that hopefully we'll be able to regain speed.
