Sorry. I guess I posted in the wrong thread. The one before this was off to Corossol in another game. Now he has this one, too.

nope, not really.
in single player mode i use a neat plugin that allows logging of the in-game messages. it's called autolog. great for looking up stuff.
but in PBEM/MP this is not possible- Artificial Intelligence usually beats real stupidity

Corossol should have it now.

BTW - while we wait for Sabre's turn...
I'm an old vet from the Alpha Centauri days, and it was standard practice for everyone to email their password to either a single person who was not in the game, or someone who was not immediately before them in the turn progression. The idea was to protect the other players of the game from people who inevitably dropped out in the course of playing - either because of real life, or because they were falling behind in the game, or simply lost interest.
This game is moving along really well (REALLY well, actually), but I thought I'd ask if it makes sense here. Has anything like that been worked out at all?

c77: there is an admin password which can be used to kick people out or change the player password. of course if the admin disappears, there is not much that can be done...- Artificial Intelligence usually beats real stupidity

On to Corossol goes the save.
Indeed, it's like sabre said, the ability for the person who knows the Admin password to kick players (they will be replaced by AIs) is quite a useful addition. (Sadly, we've already had to make use of it in one game I'm in, but that did save it from imminent death.)
