Your error, of course.

SMAX is the abbreviation for the SMAC expansion for the insiders.
If we're lucky, the C4:AC mod team will manage to bring SMAC to cIV.

Most SMAX players I know liked the extra stuff in it, except for the 2 Progenitor (alien) factions. Personally, I was thrilled by their presence, except when they succeeded in eliminating me.

Basically it's SMAC with 7 extra factions, more builder stuff and some bugs adressed (but others introduced )

btw, wierd thing happened. i went to check out some border irregularities with my archer. and when i got back the turn, he was severely hurt. it turned out he had been attacked by a barbarian longbowman! and despite 98.3% odds of losing... he didn't!

quite delightful! but i wished these barbarians had kept coming while i was training for the battles against geomodder

whilst the lord of the mayans seems to have expanded his formerly massive empire into the coldest parts of the world, the last bastion comes under attack by the massive egyptian army. swarms of mongolian cavalry are surrounding the city, making sure that no further settlers exit the besieged capital!
