As it happens I did have multiple cups of tea and scones at tea time today (was visiting my fiancee's rather traditional grandmother). We even talked about how great the Queen was. We didn't say "pip pip cheerio" though

And everybody knows that Switzerland consists entirely of mountains, yodellers and cuckoo clocks.

Switzerland also has kinves and watches. I know, I have one of each when I was there last summer.

as for knives and watches: we also have alp-horns and small peasants who dress up in traditional clothing...

but all these things are about as representative for "my" part of the country as the mormones and amish are for the US. or like if we'd believe that new york is one huge trailer park
