cool. then let's quickly discuss the base line of the new game: here is my post from earlier on:

my proposal:
- again team games (but single player is just as fine for me)
- balanced map
- later game stage begin - maybe something around medieval era start?
- because of the later start, expansion will work faster. therefore we can take a slightly bigger map (normal)

it would also be cool to "spice up" the world with either some tough AI or raging barbarians. in fact, i'd love to try the latter once. i heard it is quite tricky but once you control them you have super-promoted units

so:
team game yes/no?
which starting era?

Afraid I'd played the turn and sent it when I made my last post, Just forgot to say so. Will attach here as well for what it's worth.

While I think no teams could be good because of the unpredictable diplomacy it allows for, it runs the risk of a three-against-one scenario, which isn't much fun for the one. I've never played multiplayer before... is this what tends to happen?

Overall I'm happy with your proposals and I'm definitely in favour of tough AI and raging barbarians.

lumpkin: 3 against 1 is quite unusual and only happens when one player is dominating too much. but with some AI this potential unfairness is minimised

ok, as nobody seems to have any opinion about this, here is my proposal:

- same turn order, but no teams
- larger size than this time, but with some AI at a bareable level. with barbarians...
- later era start, either classical or medieval
- a MP map. either balanced or hub.


a possibility would also be a team game. however 1 AI and 1 human in each team...

I don't mind if it's classical or medieval start.

I'm not a pro (I'm positioned fifth in my current 7-civ monarch-level game) but I hate pushover AIs so I would prefer tough AI/difficulty level and raging barbarians.
