"No CIV is an Island" PBEM

OK I decided to start a PBEM now that they released the first patch. Everyone will have to be be on the 1.09 version before you can play a turn.

I want to try the archipelago map type so I was thinking large or standard map (help me decide) 7-8 civs 1 or 2 AI Noble level normal speed

I haven't set one of these up yet so excuse the noobness. Hoping to get started next Wednesday or Thurday after I get back from travel.

I'd say a standard map with 7 civs would do nicely. 4 human + 3 AI, or 5 + 2. Maybe throw an extra AI in there for good measure.

OK everyone responded so I will attempt to set up the game when I get home tonight, play my first turn and send it off to one of you. I will setup the order of play at random.

We will use this thread to track who's turn it is and maybe do a little smack talking.
