      And on

My old start was much better than my new one

my settler started 1 tile west

I was thinking of main cities at the circles, and much later backfilling the number 2 city sites to make the most of the coast. I guess it depends how many cities I end up taking by conquest

So is there any chance of getting you lot for some proper 'real time' multiplayer civ? I dont want to have to play pbem for 6 months and then find out you guys are utter noobs

I'm up for some real time play at some point, if you are up for some long sessions.

My brother is in Minnesota over Christmas, so we can play that while we take a hiatus from this for a couple of weeks.

I dont mind playing long games with people I know. Large or huge maps might be a problem though (my computer will be begging for mercy and it might be logisticaly difficult to get together for enough sesions to make it worthwhile)

Although if I treat myself to some RAM for christmas then this wont be nearly as much of a problem
