    Well, I can concur that having wireless (as do I) can be a royal pain at times. When the signal hic-ups, the PitBoss game that I am hosting (Apolyton Gathering) goes off-line as well.

    Note to self: When I finally move, I will have a hard-wired DSL connection.

      You know, it's a design fault of the game to go offline like that then. Not everyting is rock solid connected; it should be able to handle the occasional disconnect. It's a server for crying out loud. Why should it peter out just when there's a small interuption. Why can't t pick up where it left off. especially if there was no one connected from outside the server!

      Plus, the interface for PitBiss really sucks. Jeez, could they have spent maybe $10 on it total? wait, they got the GUI for it as freeware. LOL

        I beleive that "CivStats" was developed by a fellow civ fan (from Civ Fanatics Forum I believe) with no ties to the actual makers of the game itself ... but you are right BF - the basic interface for the PitBoss option of the game could definately be worked on some more...

                                Just played OK.

                                I may not get time to play over the next couple of days so apologies if that means the timer has to run out. Will be back on Thursday at the latest.
