Dauphin is already basically in the european timezone (I think). At least the way he has his profile set up, it shows him as being 6 hours ahead of me (I'm in EST), which would put him at GMT+1 timezone.

So depending on which timezone you are in, you would probably be put in the turn order either before Dauph or right after. Because as of this posting it is currently 11:45am for me and the system shows that it is 4:45pm for Dauph.

oh. well. i just looked at the flag and thought he was in australia. but i guess you are right. or nearly so, I live in GMT+1 (germany) myself and he is an hour after me, which would makes him gmt, which, incidentally, is also compatible with "swimming in the thames". so the biggest time difference is 6 hours then? perhaps it is even possible to play in (short, perhaps 3 turns?) bursts then, at least on some days; i have a habit of staying awake until about 1 or 2 am anyways. basically depends on how early you eastcoasters can play but with family job and all 7-8pm isnt very possible i guess

this will be my first civ4-pbem game btw, my only prior pbem experience was with smac and dates back to 2001. pretty cool game though, and it even finished. well, smac-mp was fast...

Akulla, I don't understand it. I can't open the Saved game from you again. Just like last time. Are you sure you are on the 1.52 patch and don't have any custom settings or anything?
When I go to open the file, it doesn't even show up in the listing of files in the directory for me to open with Civ.
