1946ad - and the war rocks on

1947ad - Arpinum captured, and 174 gold liberated
Naval task groups continue to pound Roman cities
There will be NO mercy
Mass of troops and artillary surround the Roman City of Antium, it looks like we will be finally going in next year

1948 - Antium is ours, along with 250 in gold

off to a work show, will play somemore in the morning

1949 - Pressure is being applied to Ravenna, but this is a decoy, as our main push is slowly but surely to Pisae, which is on the road to Rome

1950 - bombard ment continues throughout all od Roman territories
tanks continue to stream off production lines
new barracks have been completed
the change in technology research levels has greatly assisted the gold stores, we now have 4206 in gold available in case any sudden troops are needed
jails have been built in several cities to combat some unrest

1951 - while the Romans kept a strong hold to the north in , Pisae has fallen, and a further 200 gold is ours.

1952 - consolidation
I have also start to call back some fleet units, will be forming up a fllet and training marines so as to take the war to the outlieing Roman cities
we will prevail

1953 - the march on Rome is on
Medice technology has been discovered
Emancipation and Enviromentalism civics enacted
Refrigeration research begun
Hospitals begun to be built, bringing extra happiness
Rome has several fighter squadrons, that keep interfering with our bombers... they will miss Rome
and as my 1st Army arrives outside of Rome, to the north a strong force of tanks has preformed an assault on Ravenna. This city is now ours, along with a further 146 gold and 2 workers.

1955 - Rome, that mighty fortress, the centre of the Roman world has fallen we have the city, along with 242 gold.
Just so that there is no mistake, so to the city of Cumae has been taken, along with a further 208 gold.
This has effectively removed all Roma influence from our two main lands.



It will take approx 9 turns to bring all cities that have just been captured into order, but I am sure that this is fine.

this will aloow the next commander time to consolidate his fleets for new operations on the Roman islands.
