Hello Everyone,

I'd like to participate in a PBEM game...looks like there's severall well on their way, so maybe a new one?

Here's what I propose:

Map: Earth (I believe this is Huge), but we all know our geography and can quickly get into it
Speed: Quick
Players: 4 or 5 Human, the rest AI

Optionally we could play a scaled down Terra Map (medium size) without any AI.


I've recently finished a huge Epic Terra map, and I like the way it lays out two main land masses, one where all the players start and the other as a"new world" to colonize.

Anyone up for it? Suggestions?

Earth map sounds good to me, and a limited number of human players keeps the turn frequency a little higher.

Maybe go with random civs?) check it out. If we inadvertantly triggered this bug it would not be a fun game for player 1. Maybe it's not a bad idea to verify that the suggested workaround actually works.

yeah, I read the thread you were talking about...I'll test it and see if it happens to me, in case I'll try the workaround and eliminate player 1

OK, an update on the situation:

PBEM doesn't allow me to load a scenario map (Earth), I tried to see if I can work around with world builder, but that's not an option in MP. So it looks like we're probably gonna have to go with a random Terra Map.

Also, I tried to reproduce the reported trading bug for player 1...but it seemed to work fine for me. I didn't go too far into it, but I was able to open borders with another player and give away a city.


If everyone is ok, we can all do random civs anyway.
