                      • 1745:

Printing Press is discovered by our scientists, they begin researching Liberalism after hearing a taunt that the last one who gets it is a rotten egg- err I mean first one to get it receives a free tech!

Antium and Pisae start constructing universities after finishing knights

Rheims finishes a forge and begins work on pikemen

We consulted with Catherine of Russia to see if she would declare war on Alexander- this free pass they are getting through her land is quite annoying! Her response left us with a red hand print on my face which left me in a bit of confusion- does this means she's a kinky kinda girl and is expressing her love for me or is she apalled at my suggestion ?

So then I head over to Alexander (who seemed to immediately recognize that hand print on my face) and we came to a mutal agreement that this war is pointless.

                        • 1750: We begin the process of repairing our infrastructure

1755: We build knights in Paris, Rome and Cumae.
Paris starts on a Library, Rome on a missionary and Cumae on a university

1760: Cyrus asks us to trade him Education for Nationalism. Seeing how Nationalism is a bit more expensive I agree.

Marseilles completes a frigate, begins work on university.
Orleans finishes library and moves on to university
(bet you can tell by now I love to improve research!)

Our sea faring explorers discover Montezuma's homeland while at sea.

                          • 1765 Liberalism is discovered but then we realize someone else must have had it already since we didn't get any free tech! Researching replaceable parts now...

Rome starts working on Hemritage (crosses fingers)

1770 Rheims starts work on a harbor while Paris build a library after completing a monastary

1775 Pisae opens up a new university and starts working on a lighthouse.

Alexander comes asking us for Open Borders- I say why not- maybe we could use him on our side later seeing as he's only cautious with us while we got some annoyed Japanese and Aztecs !

1780- Lyons builds a grenedier and starts work on a forge.

We failed to spread Judaism to Lyons

Our workers are hard at work:

                            • 1785- Replaceable parts discovered. Now researching Steam Power!

Antium finishes Uni, works on missionary
                              Pisae finishes lighthouse- builds missionary
Rheims completes a harbor then began work on an observatory (they have a nice view from that hill they're on)

1790- Paris completes library and- you guessed it!- starts building a university!

Pisae finishes one missionary and works on another

We get a new great artist in Antium!

I just remembered we still had one in Paris- I added him as a citizen to Lyons, figured he could be useful building up cuture to fight off russia's borders
