The rules and settings for the game are now decided and leader picking has begun!! There are nine total teams in the Intersite Demogame, we are picking unrestricted leaders and so are using a serpentine draft to choose. Team Apolyton was given the third spot in the draft and could choose a leader OR a civ. We decided to pick Elizabeth and choose a civ at the end of the second round. Elizabeth was our top choice so we are all pleased she fell to us.
Negotiations with her agent have begun, we expect her to be signed soon. Team owner, Robert Plomp is going to have to get out the checkbook to sign such a high draft pick, but team president OzzyKP and head coaches Calanthian & mzprox assure him Elizabeth is worth the price.
