  • Welcome to the World, Olivia Irene Plomp

This morning, August 3rd 2011, my daughter, Olivia, has been born!
It was a speedy turbo delivery (my wife is goood!) in about 1 hour and 10 minutes!
Mother and child are healthy and ok!

This time our baby decided to wait till 9.30 to start arriving, so I had a healthy night! 8)
We call her Olivia, in full: Olivia Irene, like her aunt 'Irene' (my sister).

Congratulations, Robert! Having been through that drill four times, I know how you feel. It's an awesome feeling. And, you are lucky enough to have a daughter to let yourself become a slave to for the next 30 years or so!

My comrades are well used to drinking like cossacks but they still remember the night when my daughter was born some 10 years ago - so much alcohol and celebrating they barely could handle. So, again: Nazdorovie for the little princess-lioness

And she is looking like you alike, Robert

Congratulations! Now, a true civver would have given her a first name starting with "S", but Olivia is a pretty nice name too, although it's not too late to change it to Solivia...

1 hour? I think I took like 6 hours or something. That's pretty good for everyone involved.

                Thanks all!

My son was born in 6, my 1st daugher (Sophie) was born in 3 hours, now Olivia is born in 1.
If we'll ever get a 4th child it may take less then 20 minutes :eek!:

@Inca: I already have a kid names Sophie, is that good enough for you

Just don't introduce her to Cat.
