Pirates descend to earth and kidnap Roman citizens directly from their beds. I suggest the following to declare total war against the pirates to them should not show any mercy. We have taken our own action - moving a military fleet and crossbowmen to Valentia and the coasts of the quiet sea. We have found this has produced some decrease in piracy along our coast, but the threat remains.

We would welcome coordinated effort with those implementing Marcus Agrippa's wise and courageous motion.

The Carthaginian fleet has been put on higher alert as our friends in Rome have informed us of piracy in the Adriatic. Especially the fleets in the Ionian and the Tyrrhean seas have been alarmed.

Still there is no additional information. Carthaginian waters remain calm and full of trade.
Let it be known that we will do everything in our power that these waters remain in that peacefull state.
