As approved by King Phillipe and issued today by the French Foreign Affairs Office.

In rebuttal to various claims and insinuations made by certain nations, we state as follows:

(see - France lost so many man ATTACKING the English cities, so they now England OWE them their capitol).

In fact, we have lost relatively few units in England and North Africa.

The Vikings and the French trumpeted that they are fighting "Gentlemen war" not pillaging..

France never 'trumpeted' any such thing. And we do not fight a 'gentleman's war'. We fight with honor. And we fight to win.

This reference is made by many nations. Yes, we destroyed the 3 Turkish settlements in North Africa. Two were size one towns and Arthurton not much larger. The English blockade killed many more French than that.

Their main competitor - England is beaten badly and is no longer a threat to them.

You clearly have not looked at the power graph lately.

France has NW Africa only because Neandor drove them there and this incurred to France the hatred of all the Africans. Since then how many wars are waged for this land? Have no doubt about this - all the Africans hate you 2 for this and will never forgive you.

France has had settlements in Africa for hundreds of years. We were not driven there by Neandor. Had the settlement of the Venetia area worked out differently than it did, we still would have settled Tangiers and Agadir.

There are three other nations in Africa. France has excellent relations and alliances with two of them. The third, the Zulus, we have had little contact but excellent trade relations. We could have easily moved earlier in our history to claim Mali or Israeli territory when they were weak militarily. But we respect their borders and their claim to their land. I thank you for your interpretation of how they actually feel about us, but it would seem that actions speak louder than words in this case.

France has never been weak. From our early conflicts with the damnanglais, and up to the recent fighting, our nation has invested heavily in our military.

And to correct this, and all the other statements regarding Neandor's military 'generosity', they have outright gifted us 3 units. I have also gifted Neandor units. The remaining units are all French built, and upgraded using French gold. Yes, we use Neandor technology, but even there, that is partially funded by France.

France is in an alliance. We are not a vassal of Neandor.

Troops from around the world fight on behalf of the Neandor's evil plans, but do the Neandor ever risk war themselves? No. They hide within their borders, the strongest nation on Earth, and continue to outstrip all nations in technology while all their neighbors weaken themselves fighting tooth and nail. What madness is this?

To remind Queen Elizabeth of history, Neandor WAS at war, but the English Pope, supported by allied Christian nations, concocted a forced peace. Madness indeed.

Confidential informers inside the Government have reported that all attempts to make peace with France have failed. The French continually refuse to even discuss the subject privately, while publicly decrying the horrors of the War.

There is still one outstanding issue. The Israeli's have made it clear that Damascus is to be returned to Israel.

Officials confirm that France has failed to fufil its public promise to account for the prisoners of war, leaving no alternative but to assume that they have been murdered after throwing down their arms.

The many prisoners of war are safe and well fed. They are being held in a POW camp in North-West Africa. This is a fact and your continuing statements to the contrary only undermine the rest of your propaganda.

The POW's will be returned to Ottoman territory when an acceptable peace deal is reached.

That the Ottomans were robbed after this is another story - they never got the Wheat near Moldavia, which place was promised to them by the Neandors. I, King Veneta played absolutely NO part in the Vikings plans. We simply suggested that it would be easier for them to expand West rather than East. In exchange Neander protected the Viking border. What the Vikings did however was quite repugnant to my sensibilities

Now truthfully, YOU declared war on Neander, causing significant damage to our economy and populations. BECAUSE of this we captured two tiny Australis colonies and gave one to India. That is all. Neander has avoided inflicting blockade harm on you as it contradicts our policies of fairness and free trade. Be happy about this because Neander's HUGE fleet could easily decimate Iceland. The poor Ottoman have been destroyed by the evil French and Israelis now as well. Three cities razed already, these evil empires set their sights on more conquest of Turk land. Is there no end? Will these evil empires with their Neandor puppet masters ever be satisfied? Will they not rest until free peoples of the world are wiped off the planet? The Ottomans even abandoned their historic faith in an attempt to appease the French & Israeli hordes, yet still they march.

Neander's Ottoman Turk neighbours have been forced into slavery and goaded into wars they can not afford by the puppeteer herself.

Historically Neander has done everything possible to assist the Turks, including the gifting of Arthurton.

The Neandor treachery continues unchecked. A vast Japanese fleet of ships now sits outside of Port Moresby, guarded by Neandor navy. There is no doubt that these Japanese troops intend to steal from England some of our last remaining outposts. Our nation has been carved up between the Vikings, French, Neandor and Indians. Now the Japanese seek to take a piece of our corpse as well.

Neander is actually quite uncertain as to Japanese intentions... our Asian fleet is for the protection of our colonies.

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean someone's not out to get you Liz.

About the menace part, I should have written it a bit simpler so even the Neandors can understand it correct.

On the Israeli casus, the French maimed the Israeli to betrayal with promises which they can not fulfill unless Russia so decides.

This is what was frenzy circulating.. a bit sad of her fate - to have to save the world from this menace..

A Royal Wedding



The bells were ringing in the palace church in Paris at day break. It was a beautiful day. And it would be a happy day. Prince Louis, the eldest son of Phillipe, and heir to the French throne, was getting married later this morning.

Phillipe could not help think that with all the intrigue and war and suffering in the world, it was refreshing to have an event such as this for the people. The streets of Paris would be filled. In fact, they were already starting to gather now.

And Phillipe was happy. He and his wife were pleased that Louis had finally chosen a woman to be his wife. Claire Marie was the daughter of Captain in the French Navy. That life may have helped prepare her for the life she was now beginning.

Phillipe wandered down to the parade square to see the horsemen practicing for the parade and ceremony. And on this side of the parade ground he spied Louis and Claire Marie sitting beside a tree, out of sight of the parading cuirassiers, and obviously enjoying each others company.



Phillipe knew that this was unusual. The wedding was in less than 3 hours, but the two of them had still sneaked out of their respective quarters for a last tete-a-tete before they were wed. Chuckling to himself, Phillipe hid behind a tree so as not be seen, and not to embarrass the young couple. As he stood there, he mused to himself that in the years ahead they would need that love and support from each other if they were to run this nation. Phillipe could not help but think that he could not have survived these last troublesome years if not for his wife, Jaqueline. It was also clear that youngsters had, how did Rabbi Goan put it - chutzpah. Yes, that was the word. Chutzpah. Another smile crossed Phillipe's face. Having that in quantity would be helpful as well.

When Louis and Claire Marie scurried back to the palace, Phillipe waited five minutes before returning himself. Yes, he thought, this is going to be a happy day for once.

"We will continue our mission to defend the Zulu nation from its corrupt rulers."

"That is our commandment-occupied several towns along the borders with Mali and ensure the protection of Mali for a long time ahead," said the Almighty Negus Nagast.

Near Ekron Oasis

The young lieutenant led Captain Bourgogne over the hill that had seen so much fighting. They headed down the north-east slope, the fateful route that the Turks had tried to escape from the battlefield, and the Russians had.

"Just over here sir. It is easy to miss."



The simple wooden cross marked the grave. Both had been done in haste. But the markings on the cross were clear. It was the grave of the late Queen Catherine of Russia.

"What should we do with the grave sir? Do you want the body moved?"

Bourgogne looked around the battlefield, this hallowed ground where so many died.

"No Lieutenant. She is at peace here. Many of her countrymen lie around her. This place is where she should be."

"A better grave marker Captain? After all, she is, er, was a queen."

"Someday, yes. But for now it is best if this grave remains undisturbed. And it was her people who placed the cross. Let us leave it as it is."

Captain Bourgogne then knelt down on one knee and tied a small bouquet of white roses to the simple cross. He whispered a quiet prayer for Queen Catherine.

Some people was persistent talking about this "Ranking" thing. Maybe this was something well established and the people were used to it. Princess Catherine was actually not very experienced in the diplomatics, also in the accounting, rankings, repairing fisher nets and numerous other probably useful to the ordinary ruler skills, yeah, but the princess was wondering what this "Ranking" thing was actually good for, if someone who is at position 11 can beat so badly someone who is ranked number 1? Princess Catherine made a note to herself to ask sometimes someone who actually knows how this thing works and shake off those refinement concepts from her delicate head.

Maybe people were right that she was a beautiful women, still her skill to color up the real facts were her major strength.

England by the world statistics was still the 4th strongest nation in the world. If the princess was correct, what is to make than from the other 14 weaker civs? How ridiculous is to say that England has suffered so much in this war, when they are so much stronger then 14 other nations?

It seemed to Guzzo that the princess lucked many diplomatic skills, she seemed to want to promote the English cause so hard, English which are a tick away from a world power statues again. England who even with its losses from this war has barely moved down a notch in the world rankings.

Guzzo looked at this statistics and saw his home country ranked 11th, he smiled….. and fell asleep.
