  • I think reloading with giving 2 turns of no- advancing-no-attacking time to Hungary is the way to go and the "best gamewise" as it is fashion to be said lately
With this one, I really can't agree. With the tempo of the Egyptian troop build up in Hungary, this is worse as the mechs themselves. I think the proposal as Hungary itself formulated is closer to being acceptable.

    For me it is

    1. "just reload"
    2. "just reload with one turn no ground attack on Debrecen"
    3. "just reload with less upgrades" (somewhere between 30 to 50 % of current upgrades) (hungaries proposal)
    4. don't reload but no more city swapping
    5. don't reload and keep on swapping
    6. 2 turns of no- advancing-no-attacking
Trade is the name of the game..

    • Just to close the proposals, I say this:
Instead of upgrading 22(or was it 23) units into mech inf I will only upgrade 10 and instead of airdropping 3 units I will only airdrop 2. After that there will be no city trading during wartime.
This or no upgrade at all, but then give Hungary time. 1 or 2 turns.

edit, I refine my list :P

      1, 50% upgrades (10+2 airdrop)
2, no upgrade but one (or better 2) turn full pause in war
3, just continue but no more swap
      4, just continue

      • I'm going to join the favourite option lists-fun

        1. reload with less upgrades (50% of current upgrades)
        2. don't reload but no more city swapping
        3. reload with 2 turns of no- advancing-no-attacking
        4. reload with one turn no ground attack on Debrecen
        5. just reload, no more city swapping
        6. don't reload and keep on swapping

        • It seems 50% upgrades/airlift is what get most votes and if Hungary/Egypt are content with that, I am content too as I am not fully aware of the situation over there.

          • I think this option is best - Reload and Hungary upgrade 30-35% of their forces as requested. Then not to allow donation to upgrade the city. This can be done only with the supply of troops to the one that will upgrade (it is the most realistic).

            • To be really fair, we should reload to when the Otts gifted all their cities to Persia...

For the record, I never had any intentions on Hungary, by myself or through the Otts. I am not aware of the Otts having any such intentions either, though I was not fully aware of their diplomacy (but military strategy, yes, and we didn't consider you except as a likely Bulgarian ally that we'd prefer to have a long NAP with).

              • Ok let's finish the argument then, because otherwise we can go on forever (myself included)
Let's make it 10 upgrades and 2 airlifts, and let then let the city swapping forever lay down it's ugly head.

                • I agree, a lot of time lost in talking, now we could have fired at least 100,000 shots.

                            • I have paused the game as I am under the impression that both Rome and Portugal are unaware we already restarted. Guys, be sure to unpause (pause button on keyboard) when you both have played.

After this we should be able to go back to our regular speedy turns
