I was having connection issues also earlier, but as I said they resolved themselves.

No Robert restarted, while I was sleeping. Then by morning, turn had already flipped.

Just switch the turn order and things are fine.
I don't know why it sometimes needs a reboot, there's not much I can do about that.

No, Robert I am not at war.. still it can suck when one misses his turn.

I missed my turn because of the connection. I tried multiple times during several hours to get connected.

I suppose your message is: even when we miss turns by technical troubles there is no reload
(fair enough if that is the game rule, but it can still suck)

Next time try to disable firewall and virus scanners, it may help.
