Thanks eveyone I'll do my best to follow the rules and the spirit.

    edit:
I have a couple questions (I can't pm until i have more posts)

When (at what time) should I take my turns?

How can I make sure to avoid double turns?

If I need to keep my username anonymous (even though It is pretty obvious who I am) what should I log in as for my player name?

Should I use a unit in game as my leaders avatar? (like a swordsmen)

I'm assuming you can receive PM's. Did you get mine?

When (at what time) should I take my turns?
Any time, really. The turn timer is set for 24 hours (or I think 22 and change) so you can log in and play your turn whenever you like. Use Play Your Turn ..

      http://www.playyourturn.com/?page_id=17&gameID=186

... to keep track of the turn timer, who else has played, etc.

How can I make sure to avoid double turns?
This usually is a concern during war. Don't use a double move - ie playing late in one turn and then early in the next - when you declare war ro get an advantage. And when war is underway, set a turn order with your opponents as to who plays first and who plays second. Robert can extend the length of time during war to accommodate this.

If I need to keep my username anonymous (even though It is pretty obvious who I am) what should I log in as for my player name?
Arabia (DoE). The account has already been set up. Robert needs to get a password to you. And we will then try and forget who you really are.

      Are you The Priest btw???

Should I use a unit in game as my leaders avatar? (like a swordsmen)
You can if you like, or you can use a custom one. I was working on one for Arabia that I can post here. Or maybe just a crescent moon. Maybe we can make this a mini-competition to see who can come with the best avatar for the New Arabia.

Or maybe I misunderstood your question. Maybe you are asking about having a unit in-game representing your leader. The answer to that is no, but it could be interesting.

He can't use PMs until he has 10 posts. So post a bit more! Unless Robert turned that off... I dunno.

We have no problem with double turns during peace time. So as long as you aren't at war, or about to declare war, you can move whenever you like. Or login as often as you like. Doesn't matter. Things change though when there is war.

It is entirely up to you how you want to roleplay. I notice that the Neandor have a unit that represents their leader. Not everyone does it that way, I don't think I ever have in games, but if you want to, go for it! Some people will rename all their units, others will rename some special units, others won't rename any units at all. What you do to role play and get in character is up to you!

                  I sent you the password.
Read the first post of the org thread for technical game details (how to install the mod, how to start the game. it's all there with screenshots examples. It should be easy)

The idea of a unit representing your leader is VERY interesting!
We may consider it for a future game! (and everybody is of course free to do it in this game)
A physical way to show your leader, and it makes it possible to physically kill a leader or 'capture' it!

In fact all characters one has in his stories can then be displayed by units.
                  I like it!

                  Anyway, good luck!

I am assuming you will be playing the current turn. If not, let me know and I can play it.
