you have to check a box to let them be saved..

Or you can go in your control panel and find the thick which says "leave e copy of sent PMs" or something like that.

Maybe RP can make this to be the default.

I've had a fair number of diplo exchanges with the Mali.
I think they play their turns once in a while. I do not plan to expand to the west of Africa anyway so they can just follow their own pace.

Mali: yes, I have been looking at them. They do play their turns once in a while.

They probably fell asleep with the turn timer at 14 hrs.

Can anybody report if they respond to diplo messages?

I had a short exchange with them awhile back. They were very much in character

Do we have permanent players now for India & Mongolia?

We have worried a lot about India and Mongolia in recent weeks, but nothing has been said about the Mali. They are much worse off imho. Not only are they dead last in score (by a good margin), but it looks like they have been missing most of their turns. Based on my count the Mali have played 11 of the last 50 turns. Something needs to be done.

Russia - I might install xp alongside win7. That should take care of things.

That will be best. And then, just dont forget to install the things in the correct order -

Civ4 vanilla -> BTS from the disk -> BTS 3.19 patch

and just then to launch the game.

You may have to deinstall the patch first...

Did you use the uninstall options from settings-control panel- program's and features?

So even if I could reinstall the game, I would still have hidden folders and what not left from the first corrupted(?) install.

There are things that stay in the windows registry I guess.

If you are willing to reinstall windows again, I will do a step by step video guide for you how and where to install civ4, BTS and the mod - did it just this Sunday on a friend's laptop and will do it again for you.
