I'm not sure. It is possible that the forum is screwy with setting like that sometimes. But try this:

    < img src="http://www.imagelocation.com" width="500" >

One more question from an amateur: I was trying to make this image (http://img839.imageshack.us/img839/5397/usa1p.jpg) my post. If I click on the link, the size seems to be fine. Then when I put it between img tags and make it into a post, it resizes the image to something really small and it becomes hard to read the text. I also tried uploading it as attachment here at Apolyton, but that didn't work either, it was also resized. Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong? I now just input the text directly onto the forum and linked to a pic of Washington from Wikipedia; interestingly enough, Washington's pic is the same size as it is on Wikipedia. I don't get it

As I wrote in the story thread:

Our most exalted leader, Camaxtli the cunning, is currently awaiting messengers who should inform him of the status of his empire.

Furthermore Aztec wise men are consulting the gods of Pah 'ss Word and Se 'r Ver to get access to the turning cycle of time. Until that time it will not be possible to sign any treaties or consult any foreigners as that will surely anger the gods.

(always happy to help out -
and hey, maybe the position grows on me, one never knows..)

Ok then, just send me the "How to get going", password etc..

I guess the drops were not because that they are in so bad position. Please, take some turns for them, as they are not played the last turns and this will not make them more appealing to anyone to replace for them in future.

    Well,

based upon 2 previous dropouts of the position, the challenging position, the "no problems with current situation"
and the fact that I was offering to sub (not really looking for permanent sub position),

    I'll pass.

But if one of you guys is going on holiday and wants an emperor+ level player to take over, with a lot of story telling, let me know.
(you can find me on Civfanatics, as Calanthian too).

Pinchak was also interested in taking over a civ permanently.
