@Arabia2, it's normally quite snappy, but there are some complicated war situations with people in different time zones, plus some other snags that are causing some lag. Also, summer time is usually a bit slower because of holidays. Things should pick up again at some point

Did either of you two unpause the game, or are you also at war and not able to log in?

I will second the rule proposal that you are not allowed to send diplo-inquiries to nations in war

but no direct IP connection is possible via the Wifi point at my camp site
(although I explicitely asked for it, but let's not go there)

(I paused the game again when finished, 42 mins left on timer)

I'll be going to bed in about one hour. If the Ottoman Empire plays before that then all's well, if he plays later then please Ottomans, pause it again. I'll play as soon as I wake up and unpause it again (and to all the rest, sorry in advance for the pauses...)

I think the Ottoman Empire needs to play before me, because of the turn order, and they haven't played yet... only 1 hour left on the clock; perhaps someone should enter the game and pause it?
