No, don't remember that screen. There is a chance I used Safari.

Just tried Explorer - after hitting submit it doesn't advance to a "your vote has been casted" screen (says error on page in foot of browser)

Just checked it, it's not working in MSIE6 (internet explorer 6).
I think it was working in Internet Explorer 7.

Anyway, it does work in Firefox, do you have firefox?
I can try to make it work in internet explorer maybe tonight, but not at this moment....

Thankyou for efforts RP. I used Safari the first time last week, and then IE8 in Win 7. Both failed. I would rather not put Firefox on but if it saves you considerable time I will. Let me know.

I agree with America (or whoever it was) that it is a bit tough to distribute 20 points to everyone. I wanted to reward lots of people for their good posts! But I guess, that is the point, we have to make tough choices...

Feel severely handicapped wrt role-playing as I have had the glorious chance to interact with 0 other players up until now I have, you know, done my best given the lack of options. I think this round will have a clear winner anyway for that category...

Anyway, update: I tried to reinstall Windows, but I had a French installation, and my attempt at including the Sata drivers failed, so now I have to wait for a week or so to get the proper disc.

I will just install the game now, deal with the huge issues my system is having, and try to start playing again tonight or tomorrow afternoon. I apologize for being out of the game so long, but I just started a bunch of new classes, and have been very busy the past week with other IRL things that are a bit time-consuming, and I didn't want to spend a long time installing the game into a busted OS just to do it all over again a few days later.

I hope Robert has accomplished something in my absence, like chopping jungles, chopping jungles, or , perhaps, chopping some other jungles so I can farm all those pretty plains tiles.

I'm playing your turns, Inca. The first 10 turns were wasted b/c I had not your password, but now your workers are fine chopping and mining and farming and your cities are all producing, still no contact, if I'm correct.

When I vote for role playing, interaction with other civs is not the only criteria.

Consider this role playing... yeah, yeah, it was on purpose, so that we may be nice and backwards still when the Europeans arrive Our rulers were, so to speak, out to lunch, while those Old Worlders were busy building great civilizations. We got sick, you see, from all the jungles and malaria and yellow fever and such. Oh, dear, so sick.

So, my game is working, and I am playing again. Thank you very much for the sub. I may need you to do that again for a couple days down the line whenever it is I get my copy of Windows.

Hey RP, I can't really vote because I can't vote on Native America yet, can I put off my vote until that it fixed? He made some very good stories, and I want to give him credit for it. I could also send you the vote for Native America separately in a PM if you prefer, but I think that would be a bit difficult, because you have to distribute 20 points in the voting system, otherwise you can't vote, right?

Maybe I could have give points to someone else that I don't want to give points to, and then PM you to transfer those points to the Native Americans... that could work?
