As noted I was the 3rd and final player of India from right after the re-conquest of the Arab attack. India, that damned POS country stuck between mountains and enemies. I have played games in which I have been in crappy positions before, but never did I feel as beleaguered and friendless as I did in this one. I really shouldn't accept taking over broken civs

Also, the excessive jungles didn't help.

You did quite good job governing India in fact, just you should have been more active, plotting and daring with planning.

Just a general message to everyone... Since the game has been called we are just screwing around, I have a big Army left so I am using it. The game is over now so please no more hard feelings. We had enough of that during the actual game, we certainly dont need it when we're just mucking around in this one.

And BTW in a straight (Non -points based) vote on the winners in All around diplogaming, based on my experience here, I would vote:

1. America
2. India
3. Inca
4. France
5. Aztec
6. England
7. Israel

I excluded myself (Ottomans) and Russia just because as i understand now, having played this, my first diplogame, that Russia and Ottomans were too aggressive and violent for diplogaming. At least that's the impression I got from everyone who was voicing concerns. I am fine with aggressive games and I am fine with peaceful space races too, I just got the impression that this game was too aggressive for a lot of players here and I take much of the blame for that.

I dont think the game was overly aggressive - all here are grown up boys and can handle some confrontation. As I understand it, it was perceived as one of the greatest games the diplo-gaming remembers and the complaints were about our alliance being too powerful, not much cruel or aggressive. We argued enough and I think most of the players saw and agreed we were not the invincible and monolith block we looked from outside

I can only feel pity about the preemptive finish of this great game.

Shall we get the final votes for the story-telling part of the game? The multiplayer part is done - almost no one is playing now.

Also, Robert, why don't we put the turn timer on 12 hours or something; I'm kinda having fun using my armies against the Natives and wanna see how far I can get in the turns that are left

There are few people who still have massive armies and would like to see some action after all, and AIs are still better than non-played human armies.

I just played last turn. I'm busy this week getting ready for xmas. I'll play more in about a week once the hectic stuff is over (I don't live anywhere near "home", and can't visit, so all my hecticness is in the weeks prior, if that makes sense).
