So after that score don't matterThe object in the end was to get the ball through the stone hoop. This was extremely difficult, and so if it actually happened the game would be over.
Hope you enjoyed it...
I will present a major scientific breakthrough in my next post..

@ England. Can you please play in the next hour or so. We are down to 7 and a bit hours on the timer, and I need to leave in about 90 minutes for the rest of the day. Thx!

Inca spies have detected yet another Neander puppet regime in this very thread.
"What appears to be the purpose of this new Neander puppet, sir?"
"We are unsure, but we assume it means to sell us something useless."

Damn. Sorry folks. I was in playing my turn earlier today, alt-tabbed out to do something else for a second, and forgot to go back in. I have stayed logged into the game for a good portion of the day.
My humble apologies. I went into PYT to see if the turn had rolled and who had played, and there was the big green dot next to France.
I exited the game immediately.

I too would love to read this kind of report, from as many people as possible.Originally posted by India (DoE) View PostRise to Power Guide
This is a suggestion for later times when the game ends. If the top players could perhaps share some thoughts and ideas for their gameplay that can help weaker players? Like a common AAR (After Action Report) where the top players go over their own play, analyzing it and explaining how they reached the top. I consider myself an above average player, but when I see what some of you are capable of I am amazed. England has fought a huge war, lost its core cities and still managed to put together a fleet of insane proportions (if the French semaphors can be trusted
). How do you do it? My cities in India are large, but not particularily developed, and I have focused everything on peaceful development, and still England outproduces and out-techs me, and your empire is spread across the world, the maintenance costs alone must be huge.
I do not expect people to start blabbing about their current situation or plans now, but perhaps a thread when the game ends, or discussing the early part of the game could be valuable to the lower rung of players? I do not consider myself a noob, but there is always something new to learn. I know that some players could get tips on game mechanics, others on diplomacy and negotiation. Diplogames are complicated affairs, and so is civ4, for new players it can be quite overwhelming. A hands on strategy guide could be interesting. I feel that England, Vikings, Neandor and Russia could share some very interesting behind the scenes stuff that would likely be very valuable to less experienced players. I am certain that other players as well may have interesting strategies to share, which would be made even more interesting by comments on strengths and weaknesses by other players.
Any takers?
