"So do you worry about the English propaganda?" Kalliste the (extremely beautiful, Sun please note) wife of Eustathius President of the Free Democracy of Byzantium asked him.

"No. Its just childish shouting. The nations of this world know Byzantium well. They also note that the English present no evidence or examples of the so-called great friendship between our nations, thus proving that all we have said is true. Some will interpret their shouting as a case of suprise of rich economies losing out some ecomonic rating, though it would be a strange case since the English are still one of the most powerful nations on earth. I prefer, noting the fact that they have not attended to a single the urgencies requirements (of) nationhood for years, see it as a case of madness; losing touch with reality. Either way, it is of little consequence, though it is disturbing to see children used in propaganda in this way.

When the final preparations were about to finish Zulkash alone traveled back to the Sha'Tao citadel. Deep below the citadel there are the chambers of the old palace and Zulkash went down to the deepest chamber, the place where the high priests gained their power, the place where the Godking himself slumbers. Once this was a common knowledge, now it's an almost forgotten rumor because the high priests thaught that the God watches us from heaven and will descend to Earth when the time will come. Only the high priests could enter this chamber and Zulkash has spent most of his time here in his meditative dreams..
The place has changed a lot during the years.. in the begining God's presence was strong, but despite gaining more and more followers it's been weakened. The other high priest almost lost their connection to their God.. only saw a few dreams once a while and even Zulkash, the 'voice of God' had hard time reaching him.
But they knew that Sha'tur is saving his strenght to the final day, when He will come and together they will rule the world forever.

Zulkash: You summoned me, my Lord, I'm here... Zulkash: The Sha'vanti towers are almost ready, even sooner than expected... Zulkash: Kordush and Shakti are making the final preparations, just in a few days we... //suddenly a dim white-blue light appeared in the dark chamber, it grew stronger and stronger and the light finally took a humanoid silhouette. Zulkash was in awe.. He only saw God in this form once.. and it was thousands of years ago.. and now Sha'tur stands before him. Of course He knew why the God has appeared.. and why He was summoned here..// Sha'tur: You have done well.. it is time to fulfill our destiny..Come now..

The God's form turned into a shapeless mist, surrounded Zulkash for a moment then dissolved. There was only the priest in the room with his eyes glowing with blue fire. He left to go back to Bombay, where the others were waiting in the central tower..

President Eustathius looked at the latest intelligence reports.

"Are you sure?" he asked "you are sure that India, the supposed ruler of the universe has resorted to esponiage against us, to steal the technology of military science and artillery? You mean they are so backward that they don't know either?" He laughed "You must be joking."

"Its true, mr president. They are so obsessed with this fanciful god of theirs that they have abandoned all progresses, and so they resort to stealing what they need."

Eustathius laughed, well the final proof if ever one was needed of the truly most devolved civilisation on the planet.

FYI: Indians do not steal. They are just keen learners and belive in the free trade of knowledge, except those technologes which God forbids them to share with non-believers..naturally.. (Now they have all the knowledge of the world plus exclusive ones like computers, secret of fission and others..)

Most unfortunately if you turn right heading from England to India you end up in Korea...

Korea had settled now, into a peaceful kingdom - still ruled by a king as head of state who presided over a parliamentary elective. The recent use of slaving by the military and the more desperate builders had caused a backlash in Korean society. Anti-Greek sentiments were present but not over whelming.

Heracles was making plans to take care of this situation re-assuring the parliament that Korea's interests were paramount in his planning. His Greek heritage was far distant now and he had little influence in Greece.

The recent decision by the Peruvians to close borders had incensed the parliament who immediately cancelled coal orders to Peru. It was also the Peruvians who handed the Korean Transports back to the Byzantium rather than on-forwarding them to Korea as requested by Korea.

Therefore, in addition an ancient gift to the Peruvians of 1 gpt was terminated. It meant little in the modern age but had yielded 100's of gold to Peru over the ages. Korea had made mistakes with diplomacy but this is now, and the double-barrelled slap in the face to Korea hurt deep. And just as Heracles had hoped for a new era in positive relations.

Korea means no harm to any nation; even borders with India have been re-opened. Korea moves from a militaristic thecratic tao state towards Sha-tao.

The breadth of Tao nations are moving closer together and past atrocities caused between the Tao nations is sincewrely regretted. Mali was right. Such praise for the Mali, that Heracles was ashamed of his war time tauntings and fear of the Mali and the Natives.

Heracles was still in charge of the military but his station and that of the military in general was curtailed. His ancestory would become problematic as the Koreans embrace the wider Tao doctrine.

OOC - Well technically England has been beaten by anyone who ends above them on the final ranking table. So plus Byz there are many others above us

The Italian Republic wishes to announce the completion of the King Aeneas Channel. The newly built channel cuts the travel time around the latium peninsula into a much shorter trip.



In the interest of international trade we open this channel to all our nations who have need for a quicker path.
