Civ 4 is by far a better game with few bugs but Civ 2 is legendary.
I played Civ2 SP from 1996 (on a 486);
started Civ 2 MP in 1999;
SKIPPED Civ 3 (even though I bought it);
started Civ 4 in 2006 (I think it was?).
Well I just installed Civ 2 MP on my i7 iMac running Windows 7 and it bloody well works! I played with myself for a few hours and it is still a great game! Mind you I took awhile to remember how to play it
Shame we have no time for an encore MP performance
