People who utter the word "confirm" in the Egyptian Sun's office are fired on the spot

Hehe, I actually invented that in another game, but it didn't take off as well as here. I'm glad people appreciate it more this time around.

          • The high officials of Mali huddled up in President K'nuk's office to discuss the state of the World.

K'nuk: Gentlemen, our brothers in Tao are now in a Civil War. Korea, who we have stood beside since the beginning of time have fired upon Indian fleets near our shores.

            *murmurs fluttered about the room*

We have a difficult decision to make. Do we join the war or stay out of it? If we join the war, whose side do we take?

The foreign Affairs advisor spoke up: Mr. President, we don't even know why the attack happened. It seems to be completely out of the blue and now the Koreans brag and taunt the Indians.

k'Nuk: Until we know further details, we are staying out of this conflict. I suggest closing borders with Korea until we find out more. At the same time, keep an eye out to the west. While India appears to be the victim in this attack, there is really no way to know where the war will spread. I want our factories on double-time creating defenses should the war come to our doorstep. Hopefully, we can wait this out without becoming involved, but be on the ready should we be called to action.

            • Infidels,

              We laugh at you.

As We've said we knew your plan very well, that the Korean fleet was to cover the Byzantine transports, and now you blame each other in public for your failure.
You can't even agree whose golry is that we lost the second fleet.. brave transports.. ha!, barely scratched the painting.. brave destroyers..ha.. they outnumbered our fleet more than 2 to 1.. and their loss will be at least the same.
You are still abusing your "friends" who are too afraid to do anything else than asking you nicely to leave..who do you want to fool.. we know that the English airships never left Peru, at least not all of them, and the land is still packed with Byzantine troops...You are forcing small nations into war while we do the best to keep them out untill they do not threaten us.. sheltering enemy troops qualifies as a threat..

We will make a better world
              Free from your kind

              • Nancy Ward, sent a message to all the tribes calling for an emergency Powwow. The Powwow to take place one week from now.

This situation regarding the Indian War with other nations was causing concern.

The Native Amercians were on good terms with everybody, having a good open relationship with the Korean leader, Gen Endo gam, and trading relationships with Lord James (England) and Guru Beli-Az (Persia) and other nations. So this latest development could seriously damage international relations.

Nancy's advisor, Chief Six-Kill, suggested sending an envoy to the Mali nation to seek their views, as their diplomatic situation was not dissimliar from the natives.

                Nancy agreed.

Meanwhile, Little Beaver, Nancy's, squaw in waiting, was absorbing scandalous titbits from a copy of the Eygptian Sun, that had found its way to these shores.

'Ooooh, that High Priest Ashoka' she whispered, ''Those things near his head, they look like Horns'.
I have seen that in any great undertaking it is not enough for a man to depend simply upon himself.

To: Tupac Amaru, Foreign Minister, United T'Oqrikoq of Peru

[Copy to Egyptian Sun: World announcement]

And in particular to all the Peruvian peoples.

                  Greece mourns for your losses.

We ourselves understand such losses having been invaded some years ago when three cities fell. Much destruction and loss of life occurs. Even when peace is restored there are years of re-building and restoration of lives and shattered friendships.

Treachery and betrayal is something we also understand. Maintain your integrity and independence. Yet at the same time step back from the details of world affairs and see the big picture. The world stands on the precipice of a 'Hitler-esqe' empire sweeping up the whole world in a fascist religious ideology of control, sacrifice and torment.

All free democratic nations and proud kingdoms must stand together and fight this tyranny.

An alliance grows strong against this evil and the brave Koreans have entirely defeated the invasion force that sullied your lands and killed Byzantium forces whilst enjoying your excellent Peruvian cuisine. I can't speak for Korea but as you know it is a Greek named Menander who is the Korean Commander of Operations residing in the Isle of Hope - this name springs eternal and is the centre point of the future of the world. One battle has been won but there will be more. Korea has sacrificed much to protect her freedom and yours.

I ask all nations to stand up to this evil and fight for freedom!

Once the evil empire has completed the three towers a bolt of lightning will travel the circumference of the globe engulfing and enslaving all of us.

Consider the facts, maintain independence of judgement and listen to wise counsel.

In addition I, Rip van Greekle of Greece, wishes to apologize for the tensions that exists in the complex structure of our alliance and any statements made that causes offense and sorrow to you and the Peruvian peoples.

                  Long live Peru!!

Long live the fighters for freedom!!

Long live the free nations of the world!!

Take up arms and fight for your lives!!

                  Rip van Greekle.

                    • this is a story about Media and Persia

Anti War Protests grow to enormous proportion
                      Guru Beli'Az is in despair

Guru Beli'Az watched over the great square in the center of Media City. Hundreds of thousands median people were protesting against his anti-India attitude, against the war that had made thousands of families suffer losses. Against the billons of gold spend on weapon upgrades while people were starving. Sons lost their lives after being drafted in the army.

At first Beli'Az couldn't care less. The military was behind his war administration. He had fed the army well and the heigh ranked officials celebrated the Guru regime. But the images of the lost sons kept being pictured in his head.

While he was imprisoned (more or less) in the shrine for so long, Hastogianism seemed to be an ideal. It was the truth. Why care for the puny and serve the worthless? They will be gone eventually anyway, better let their tiny lives serve the bigger picture. The words of Oroetes tasted like sweet wine. He had repeated the Mantras of Hastog for years in his cell. When the time had finally arrived and Oroetes had instructed him he was certain about everything. He would rise as Beli'Az from the ashes and rule the world with the iron fist. Rule it to bring it into fulfilment. But in his dark underground home he had no pictures of crying women, no fathers despaired about the fate of their sons. He had no clue about the love of the worthless.

And when time passed by he started to disgust all that was Hastogianism. And when he became more disconnected from the fate of his spiritual father, fear was growing in his heart. "Hate and fear give courage to those who are hated and feared." Oroetes had said. And when he lost touch more and more with Hastog, he lost the courage to stand up against it as well.

He became a pawn of the army generals. Feared to interrupt them, scared that they would see through his hard-liner face and find the sorrows behind his cold blue eyes. And he also feared the mob, protesting against his regime in the streets. Everytime he had ordered his guards to spread the mob with all uses of violence, more people died. But the blood of the marters appeared to be the bread for the Anti-War movement. Every protester that died by the Fat bullets made 3 new protesters join them.

And everytime he saw the lifeless eyes of a young girl, lying on the streets, the words of Oroetes echoed in his head: "A child is nothing yet. If we kill it, why would we mourn? Potential is nothing as long as it has not been fulfilled."
"As if the strong and the mighty live forever" Beli'Az sighted. "Where is Fed'Az? Where is Far'Az? They are long gone and who remembers their names? This child who died today lived to see ages the gurus of long lost did not even dare to dream about. Why is their innocent life only lost potential? Did a child who loved cause not more happiness to the world then all the Guru's together?"

Beli'Az could not sleep. His head was haunted by images of dying soldiers, crying mothers, angry officers and the barking voice of General Kazam. "Give me more troops noble warrior!" and "Fund the upgrades of our archers!" he yelled. The sound of his marching boots caused pain in the depths of his brain. Beli'Az knew that the decision was inevitable, the war must end, the Guruship must end, Media and Persia must progress into the new state of the world; Real representation and emancipation. True Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Religion. To hell with Hastog and his crazy followers.

But he also understood the consequences for himself.
Could Beli'Az be the first Guru willing to sacrifice himself to aid the weak, the puny and the worthless?

                      • Basil listened to the report from Persia, continuing to wonder at the technology which allowed his agents in Persia to report direct to him.

But he also understood the consequences for himself. Could Beli'Az be the first Guru willing to sacrifice himself to aid the weak, the puny and the worthless?
Basil smiled. He knew he should be concerned that one of India's enemies was seeking peace, but instead he smiled. Finally the most aggressive nation in the world had accepted the Byzantine way, that the strong had strength to use to protect the weak. Whatever this meant for the East, for Byzantium's desire to protect the Eyptians and Peruvians against the threasts from India, it was a good day for the Byzantine way.

                            • Korea wishes to advise that the Indian Empire has begun bombarding innocent civilians in the war. Whilst Korea has stood fast on its resolution to not attack civilianssuch as hte easy targets of Indian fisherman, the indians have killed hundreds of thousands of civilians.

this action has only hardened koreas resolve to fight the evil in india.

We hope the world take notice that the act in itself shows the true intention behind india.

No nation should now continue to think it can be neutral in this battle.

The blood of innocent human beings cries out to the Natives and the Malinese, The Egyptians nad Peruvians, to the Mighty Russians and the Orb, to the Arabians , Romans and Greeks. Now is the time to show India that this type of evil must not be allowed to continue.

Stand all together now people. They can not beat us all.

They were scared and were running from the fight.

They had tried for quick land grab in New India and had lost, now they were running from the fight.

                                So be it.....
