| Persia victorious again A new naval assault on occupied West-New Russia by Media and Persia succeeds again. The city of Madras was liberated without loss of Persian lives. In the meanwhile the city of Hyderabad was stacked with more and more Indian armies, tanks, machine gunners, infantry and an odd cannon. It is inevitable that the city will eventually fall to the Persian war machine. Nobody will be able to stop the liberation of West-New Russia. In the meanwhile Russian spies are caught destroying improvements and buildings around New Novograd. Guru Beli'Az has ordered actions against the Russian Empire for their breaching of the pact between both Russia and Media & Persia. | India accepts Persian control over West-New Russian cities. In a public announcement the Empress of India has acknowledge the legitimate Persian authority over the liberated West-New Russian cities like Madras and Prayaga. The Empress discussed the action of "destroying fishing boats belonging even to Persian occupied cities." Guru Beli'Az has good hopes that India will soon end the occupation of West-New Russia and accept the legitimate ownership of all of New Russia by Media and Persia. Beli'Az also calls upon all nations to stop destroying legitimate Media and Persian fishing boats. |  | |
 Russian agent in New Persian prison | More details on Russian espionage actions The man that was caught red handed in New Novograd while sabotaging many improvements around New Novograd (copper mine, rice farms, hills mine, fishing boats) and buildings within New Novograd (Lighthouse) is UNDOUBTLY Russian. Not only can he speak Russian and only Russian. He also carried his Russian ID with him and a letter from the Russian Administration that authorized him to execute his actions. We have performed DNA tests which also made clear that he's a Russian spy. We even were able to relate him to his family in (old) Novograd. His finger prints match our intelligence system. We have confirmed that the autograph on the letter from the Russian administration is 100% authentic. There is no doubt that this order came from Russia. We do not care if the Russian administration either admits this or not. We will just only make it even again and send a small mission to Russian targets to punish Russia for it's actions. The Russian administration is advised to accept this or otherwise a full scale war may erupt in which Persia will send many infantry units across the borders to cause widespread horror among the Russian people. This war will be considered to be caused by Russian actions. Media will notify it's allies on Hascon about the current situation. |
| Guru Beli'Az gives some breathing space to Russia. Guru Beli'Az, known as a warm, friendly, moderate and nice man, read the Russian announcement. He decided to give the Russians the advantage of doubt for now. The Russian administration gets 5 periods to offer the evidence that Russia's not behind the New Novograd attacks to Media & Persia. If this proof won't be handed over in time the Median & Persian administration reserves the right to act accordingly. Beli'Az once again insists that Media and Persia do not seek war with Russia. But we will not let these criminal acts happen unpunished. | Did Guru Beli'Az really live for hundreds of years? This article was originally published in the popular magazine "Look Back!", a low-level semi-scientific magazine that tries to inform the youth of the nation into the past of the nation. By Harim Mastafahl Media City, December 13th 1998 Guru Beli'Az, a leading figure in the history of Persia, is one of the most well known rulers of the past. Souvenir shops in Pasagarde and Hastogsburg still sell thousands of action figures of Beli'Az to tourists from all over the world. His 'sealed room' in the Hairy Shrine is being visited by tens of thousands every day. Most interest is in the myth of Beli'Az, who lived for hundreds of years in a small room behind sealed doors, united with 'Hastog'. Today we know that the original Beli'Az, who most certainly lived in the 13th century of the current age, died when Steward Farza could not longer accept the failing rule of the Fat Guru. The original Beli'Az (Beli'Az I) is known as a very paranoid indecisive person who was insecure and not able to lead the Empire. At a certain moment in time Farza could not longer accept that the Great Persian Empire was being lead by this unstable person. Beli'Az was brought into a hidden room by Farza, who then locked the door. Since it was impossible to keep Beli'Az I in there for too long without people hearing his screaming, it is widely believed that Beli'Az I was killed by Farza quiet soon. Some claim that the body of Beli'Az must have remained in the shrine, rotting on the bare floor. Farza nonetheless continued to act as if Beli'Az was alive, visiting his rotting corps at least once a week. When Farza grew old a replacement was needed. Oeroetes was the one who was informed by Farza about the real fate of Beli'Az I. Oroetes accepted stewardship and continued to expand the myth around Beli'Az, the immortal Guru. The skeleton of Beli'Az I was removed and then new rooms were created inside the shrine. A large staircase lead to the rooms under the surface of the earth. Only a couple of workers knew about this, but they were killed one by one after the construction had been finished. Oroetes then kidnapped a young baby and raised it in the hidden room. From early on this child, we now know as Beli'Az II, was teached in all arts of leadership, history and wisdom. He was brainwashed, believing that he was the real Beli'Az, living in the Hairy Shrine forever. When Darius started to challenge the position of Oroetes, Oroetes knew it was time. He prepared Beli'Az II for the things to come. The sealed doors were weakened and everything was setup up in such a way that Darius would chose the Shrine as the place to judge Oroetes. For drama and awe Beli'Az II was prepared to enter the Shrine at the right moment. Eventhough well prepared, Beli'Az II had a moment of insecurity when he left his room for the first time. Never before had he seen so much space and that many people. He played his role perfect though, except for one moment of utter doubt. Then he looked at Oroetes, who nodded at him. Then Beli'Az II continued to play his role, till the end. For long the people in Media & Persia believed that Beli'Az had indeed survived the ages. They followed him in the war against India (already setup by Oroetes, including the storage of international letters in archives and cabinets in such a way that Darius could only find them and share them with Empress Shakti!) It was just after the re-occupation of Madras, right after the Espionage Incident with Russia, that people started to doubt the authenticity of Beli'Az. First starting with the Russian King who, after being accused by Beli'Az, publicly stated that Beli'Az (II) was not the rightful ruler of Media and Persia. Beli'Az himself though, brainwashed by Oroetes, kept insisting that he was the true Guru Beli'Az. Today nobody doubts that he never knew the truth. Most Median and Persian people kept believing in the myth of Beli'Az for many decades! | Reconstruction of the happenings around New Novograd After many interrogations the New Persian authorities have been able to make a reconstruction of the recent happenings in New Novograd. 1. The native Russian population in New Novograd was causing civil unrest because of the close by war between Persia and India. The Russians felt like they had nothing to do with this war but would pay the price anyway if the Indians would be able to break through the Persian lines. 2. A Russian scout sent a letter to the Russian administration; it read:
"There is civil unrest near the Persian city of New Novograd. Our scouts in the area tell us there may be an opportunity to aggravate the situation." 3. The Russian administration discusses the options.
"Their problems are none of our affairs. Tell our operatives to stand down."
"See that aid reaches those organising local criminal activity. Be discrete."
4. Then King Igor makes the final decision, which is:
"Unleash our agents. Allow them to capitalise on any opportunities for mischief-making that they can find." 5. The local agents get 50 espionage points from the Russian Espionage treasure against Persia, which decreases from 731 to 681. One of the agents is being caught after being very successful. After being water boarded for many days he breaks. Median Intelligence Officials double check the results of the interrogation and confirm that the Russian Espionage Threshold has indeed been decreased by 50, from 731 to 681. 6. Guru Beli'Az immediately decides to authorize counter actions but insists that the counter actions will be proportional, only as a warning towards the Russian administration. |
