  • One more player needed for huge diplogame!

    Hello civ4 pitboss player!

We need one more player for our "The Dance of Civilizations" Diplo game.
One of our players dropped at last minute.
We're in the process of playing the first turn (takes 3 days) so if you join us now you can be a part of the game from the beginning on.

Only your civ can't be changed anymore!
Diplogames are games in which you play your civ as if you'rea real world leader, backed up by in character story and diplomacy posts.
We have 15 players and the game will last for most probably about 15 months.

    A 1 turn/ day turn timer (only first 100 turns are 8h/turn)
For more information please read the setup thread of this game here: http://apolyton.net/forums/showthread.php?t=187232

I've contacted 5 (former) diplo players, I hope one of them wants to jump in!
In the meanwhile of course also new players are very welcome to join us!

I would consider it except for the 8 hour turns at the start, those shortened turns would seriously handicap a player who cannot make every move in the search for huts etc, therefore i cannot consider it.

Trev i hope that you reconsider and join us. There will be only so much huts to explore. I hope you compromise and join us. Missing some huts will not effect your game. After all you have your skills to count on.

I hope there not too many huts around.. I have terrible luck with them. ( I voted against them in the first setup thread, but too many wanted them ). I think most of us will miss turns in the begining but it's not really a big deal, production, research, unit movement/actions can be queued up.

That is what I m saying as well, big deal that huts will be missed due to some missed turns.

Also Trev is easilly one of the best players i know here, thus the no need for huts

Come on Trev say yes and miss some damn huts but than enjoy what seems to be the start of an amazing Game.

C'est la morte, I can live without a map or warrior.

Chances of getting a tech are so small as to be like sticking a pin in a racehorse list - you'll get a winner sometime but it'll cost you a lot of money!
