You go to the gamespy lobby by selecting "Multiplayer" and then "Internet" in the game.
You have to assign for a name/password.

Can you connect to Zoid's game: zoid.game-host.org:2059 instead of plomp.eu:2062 (no password, don't use DoC account!)
Just see if you can connect, don't pick a civ or something.

yes can access the url above ..

the error i get is "coonection attempt to host has timed out"
i dont play any other mp fgmaes.

According to that there is actually no Roman connection at all. The Empire was founded by Celts who stopped Caesar from conquering Britain. So the British Isles were never actually colonized or conquered by Rome at all.

Doesn't seem to have any Dutch connection either. *shrug*

The Dutch civ is called Britannia but is really Roman?

Do you know how Byzantines are formally Romans and their state is the Roman state but they are really Greeks?


Well Britannia is what would have happenend if after the Empire evacuated its armies from the Roman province of Britannia and told the locals to mind their own defence they would have managed either to repel the barbarians or assimilate them and their state would keep functioning long after Rome itself "fell".



I have to give credit to the player. The advantagese that the dutch have in the game match closeley what Britannia would be like. Also it claiming the title of a Holy Empire drawing parallels to the Holy Roman Empire of the German nation is pure brilliance.

It works fine for me, and also for others who have been logging in during the past couple of turns.
Are you sure that your firewall/connection is configured properly?
Has anything changed? Do you try to connect to: plomp.eu:2062

made no changes to my computer it jsut wont conenct today.

how do i check my firewall ?

if i dont get in will have to look for a sub i guess..
